Cultivating Community, One Kenyan Dish at a Time

Jacque’s Catering brings people together with authentic flavors, local partnerships, and dishes that celebrate both Kenyan traditions and West Michigan’s vibrancy.

Meet Jacque

From Nairobi to Grand Rapids—To Your Table

Born in Nairobi and bringing Kenyan warmth to Michigan since 2009, Jacqueline Obuchi channels her heritage into community-focused meals. With ingredients sourced through local African grocers and her own pop-ups at markets, Jacque’s mission is to build belonging—one plate at a time.

Where Every Dish is a Welcome

Jacque’s worked closely with community vendors, faith groups, and local schools—each partnership enriching menus and events. Whether it’s fresh spices from African grocers or coordinated community pop-ups, every meal strengthens cultural ties, supports entrepreneurs, and opens conversation over shared plates.
